Mehitabel would tell the stories and Archy would type the scripts by jumping from key to key on the typewriter (don’t think you would know what this is – Heather can explain) so all the books had no punctuation or capital letters, until Archy jumped onto the ‘shift lock’ key then everything was in capitals.
This has been one of my favourite books since I was a child and where I’m getting to with this story, is that you have the perfect person to transcribe your stories into books, plus they will have capital letters and punctuation. Ask Heather is Google ‘Archy and Mehitabel by Don Marquis’
