You can definitely picnic there. Stuart did bring his own burners to cook with. I meant to check and see if there are skottel braai Ds there but I forgot…Maybe ask on the Marievale Facebook group – it seems pretty active.

Every year the western oriole migrates back from Mexico and gets all fussy in my backyard fountain. He’s bright yellow and brightens my day.

So do the enormous red-tailed hawks in my neighborhood.
